League Calendar 2026 Season

Registration:

September 1:  On-line registration begins.  LAST DAY FOR Early REGISTRATION IS October 31!

Last day for Registration is November 9.

Early Registration is $/160 player. A discount of $5 is available for the first sibling; $10 for the second sibling. Late Registration (after October 31) will be $175/child. No sibling discounts will be offered after October 31! 

Registration will be done online only this year. If you need help registering your child, please come by the church during business hours (M-Th 9a-5p) and someone will assist you with registration.   

Player evaluations:

Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation. It is Mandatory for all participants to attend their scheduled Evaluation Day. If you DO NOT attend, you will forfeit participation in this league and NO REFUND will be issued.

Evaluations will take place at the Montgomery United Methodist Church as follows:

Players - Last Names Beginning A through L

Players - Last Names Beginning M through Z

Players - All Last Names if unable to come assigned day

TBD between 5:00pm and 8:00pm

TBD between 5:00pm and 8:00pm

TBD between 5:00pm and 8:00pm

We want Evaluations to run smoothly so please attend on your assigned date (Tues or Thurs) unless absolutely necessary to come on Friday. Please let us know if you are unable to make your date so we can prepare adequately for TBD.

Skills and Drills Camp:

Each child will be assigned one day for skills and drills camp. Please come on your assigned day from 6:00-9:00pm. Camp will be TBD.

Coach’s Meeting:

We will have a coach meeting TBD. If you are coaching a team, you need to come to the training. We will go over rules, devotionals, referees, safe sanctuary which is required by MUMC and any changes that have occurred since last season.

Weekly Practice:

First Practice: Tuesday, January 13 or Thursday, January 15 - Your team will be assigned a time between 5:00 and 9:00pm

Game Days:

All games are played on Saturday, and each team will play eight games (including the year-end tournament for Grades 5-6).  There is one practice during the week for each team which lasts one hours.  All games are approximately one hour long which includes a ten-minute half-time devotional.

First Game: Saturday, January 17 - Your team will be assigned a time between 9:00am and 5:00pm

Last Game: Saturday, March 7
