Welcome to the MUMC Youth Site

We have an awesome group of Youth at MUMC!  We welcome all who want to be a part of this great Youth Group.  This youth group works very hard in the community - we clean up parks, highways, yards, paint fences and more!  We pack Back Pack food for the elementary students who do not have enough food over the weekends!  We work for our MUMC Food Pantry every other Sunday too!  We are hard working but we know how to have fun too – with Concerts, Ball games, Mystery Trips, and Camps to name a few.  During the summer we have camp at Lakeview, Movie Monday Nights in July and a Back to School Bash in August.

This youth group always make time for God!  We have a very special Sunday School class at 9:45 AM for 6th through 12 grades with "Mrs. Susie" Turner as our guide through The Word.  We just began a new College Class:  "A Major in God."  There is a Bible Study on Wednesdays with a snack at 4:30 PM and class beginning at 5 PM.  The fourth Sunday of each month during the school year is "Youth Sunday."  The Youth participate in many facets of the worship service from music to testimonies.

During the school year, our church hosts "The Cave" (7th -12th graders) from 3 PM to 4:45 PM.  This is a safe place for kids to come and meet other friends.  There are snacks, games, basketball, pool, ping pong and an opportunity to study.  This has been a big success!
