I am humbled by the fact that I serve our church in the ministry to our children. Nothing can compare to the love of Christ t hat I see in their faces each Sunday. Our classes are literally overflowing with children and my heart yearns to provide them the best opportunity to learn about God's love and saving grace through His son Jesus.
My husband M.J., our daughter Kendall and I moved to Montgomery in 2006. We have attended MUMC since our first Sunday here. What a great church home!
I have a Bachelor's degree in English from Texas A&M University and a lifelong love of children. I remember handing out juice and crackers to children during Sunday School when I wasn't more than a child myself. Those days seem far away; and though I still hand out juice and crackers to children, I now look upon these moments as the most precious opportunity to teach our children something worth remembering. What could be more important than pointing our children towards God. Please join me in praying for our children as they grow in stature and in love.
